The manufacturer's warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below:
The manufacturer warrants its Freeze Protection Products to be free from defects in material and workmanship. All Freeze Protection Products must be used with approved components and accessories. Use of non-approved components and accessories will void all warranties. The maximum liability of the Company is limited to the cost of the original product multiplied by the percentage of the warranty period remaining.
The manufacturer shall in no event be liable for the cost of removal or installation, for loss or damage to or loss of use of facilities or other property, loss of revenue, loss of use of revenue, loss of anticipated profits, or other damages or costs of any kind whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, and in no event shall the manufacturer's liability exceed an amount equal to price of the product.
Warranty period is as follows providing product is installed and tested as is outlined in the manufacturer's specification and installation information.
13mm self-regulating cable for roof & gutter - three (3) years from date of purchase - warranty solely applicable with use on water pipes or, in roof & gutter de-icing applications.
Connection Components including Heat Shrink components - three (3) years from date of purchase - warranty solely applicable with use with roof & gutter self-regulating cables.
The manufacturer self-regulating cable is eligible for an extended ten (10) year warranty (standard three year warranty + seven (7) years), provided the online warranty form is completed within thirty (30) days from the date of installation. This limited warranty extension remains subject to the terms, limitations, conditions, and exclusions of the manufacturer's Limited Product Warranty for self-regulating cable
